A postdoctoral position is available at Arizona State University (ASU) through the U.S. NSF Center for Analysis and Prediction of Pandemic Expansion (APPEX), a research center focused on pandemic modeling. Applicants from a wide range of quantitative disciplines are encouraged, including sociology, computer science, psychology, game theory, immunology, physics, and ecology.
The postdoctoral scholar will conduct interdisciplinary research in network and pandemic science, collaborate across 2–4 research working groups annually, publish and present research findings, and engage in team science, mentoring, and broader academic activities. The position highlights cross-disciplinary collaboration, quantitative research, strong communication, and a commitment to working with diverse student populations.
